Acquisitive Tendra Technical Services swoops for facilities management firm

Tendra Technical Services, which is backed by the Triton Smaller Mid-Cap Fund II, has snapped up a multi-disciplinary facilities management provider in its fifth acquisition since inception. 

Established in 2003, FMS Integrated Building Services Ltd is headquartered in Coleshill, Birmingham, and has a longstanding history of providing maintenance, PPM and reactive services, together with HVAC installation, to both public and private sector clients across a range of market segments, including healthcare, defence, and education.

In acquiring the business, Wilmslow-based Tendra plans to strengthen its presence in the Midlands, with FMS offering complementary services to COAT Facilities Group, a business acquired by the company in December 2025.

Craig McDonald, managing director of FMS, said: "Since 2003 we have built our business on technical quality and long-term customer relationships, and it's that same commitment to service excellence that drew us to Tendra.

"Becoming part of a group with this ambition, as well as the platform and resources to accelerate our growth, will enable us to advance the business while remaining true to what has made FMS successful for over the last 20-plus years."

This deal comes just two months after Tendra acquired Dynamic FM.
